we went to France in order to help out with any service that we could. We did things such as wheel the disabled around, help with the procession of Ave maria, and other various chores.
During the summer after sixth grade I volunteered at a horse barn for a week where I helped maintain stalls, groom, set up tack, clean tack, and walk the horses.
SCHS Interact Club held a Bake sale to raise funds for Haitian Earthquake Relief by selling homemade and mostly organic goods at a local grocery store.
The Santa Cruz High Interact Club is making bracelets for Haitian Earthquake Relief. Each bracelet costs four dollars and is hand crafted by one of the members of the club!
I got together with the Santa Cruz High Interact Club to make bracelets out of miracle beads. We will sell these for about $3 and use the money towards buying a shelter box to send to Haiti.
I volunteered for the Santa Cruz City Parks and Recreation program as a junior leader for a summer camp. I helped plan and provided assistance to the staff and children with activities and games.
