Easter Seals Camp Harmon

community service category
Easter Seals needs your help to make sure kids with disabilities can attend their beloved Camp Harmon. With recent state budget cuts, many children are at risk for not being able to attend the camp, an experience they look forward to every year.

Each year Easter Seals Central California provides educational, early intervention, therapeutic, camping and recreation, and daily living support services to more than 1,500 children and adults with disabilities and their families through our core services.

Camp Harmon is a residential camp for children and adults with disabilities. Almost six hundred children and adults with disabilities attend eight sessions throughout the summer. Ranging in age from 8 to 62 years old, they participate in horseback riding, swimming, arts and crafts, and many games. The opportunities to make new friends, try new things, and become more independent are limitless.

Easter Seals Central California has owned and operated Camp Harmon since 1963 providing high-quality residential camp programs for children and adults with disabilities.

Camp Harmon is located in Boulder Creek amidst the beautiful redwood forest of the Santa Cruz Mountains. With donations, the camp was constructed to provide accessibility for those with disabilities.ACC logo
